Unit 2 - Research Questions, the Literature Review and the Research Proposal

In this unit, I decided on the topics for both my Literature Review and Proposal Presentation.

For the Literature Review, I chose "AI-based Assistive Technology for the Physically Disabled and Elderly", a subject that resonates with important ethical and societal considerations.

For the Proposal Presentation, I selected "Integrating Demand Forecasting and Personalised Product Recommendation in Nutraceutical E-Commerce: A Machine Learning Approach Using Multichannel Behavioural and Sales Data", which will also serve as the basis for my MSc capstone project. This topic was chosen after much thought, as it aligns closely with my professional role as a web developer in a nutraceutical company. Having an understanding of the marketing department’s needs, the project offers mutual benefits—supporting both my academic development and contributing practical value to the organisation.
